Cooperation with entrepreneurs

The Department of Entrepreneurship has long been committed to connecting academic education with real-world business practice. We collaborate with a wide range of inspiring entrepreneurs – from our alumni such as Michaela Kloudová (GENSTER.cz & AlimentyDetem.cz), Peter Hajduček (Footshop), and Lukáš Balík (Spaceflow), to experts from established companies, institutions, and organizations within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Our students regularly engage with professionals from venture capital funds, banks, law firms, marketing agencies, private investors, and business angels. A key role is played by the xPORT VŠE business accelerator in Prague, where students develop their entrepreneurial projects. Members of the department have also contributed to the establishment of IDEA hubs in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bulgaria, and have carried out projects for the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic focused on improving the effectiveness of business support.

As part of our courses, we have welcomed several distinguished guest experts:

  • Mgr. Martin Strnad – a legal and media expert working with FTV Prima and his own law firm, Strnad Legal.
  • Mgr. Viktoria Velé – an innovation and entrepreneurship specialist from the Central Bohemian Innovation Center.
  • Mgr. Ondřej Dobeš – a startup and investment support expert representing CzechInvest.
  • Ing. Jiří Vodička – a manager in the automotive industry at Škoda Auto, a.s.
  • David Makovský – a specialist in startup financing and investment strategies, actively involved in mentoring.
  • Martin Kešner – founder of a platform focused on developing entrepreneurial thinking and a long-term partner of the department.

This collaboration offers students a unique opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with the current challenges of entrepreneurial practice.
