Guest in 3PO310: Šárka Pelikánová on Business and Taxes in the World of Freelancing

As part of the course 3PO310: Freelancing and Digital Nomadism, we had the pleasure of welcoming Šárka Pelikánová, owner of the accounting and tax firm CEG.cz. Šárka founded her company at the age of 23 and today leads a team of 15 people, including her mother. She gained experience not only in the Czech Republic but also during her studies and work in Japan.

Šárka openly shared her entrepreneurial beginnings and provided practical tips for freelancers—from choosing the right legal form of business to navigating tax challenges faced by digital nomads. Students appreciated her concrete advice on how to avoid mistakes in the early stages of business and how to manage finances effectively in an international environment.

We thank Šárka for her inspiring perspective on entrepreneurship and believe her experience will serve as a long-term source of motivation for our students. We look forward to further collaboration!
