Course Enterprise in Praxis: Meeting with Martin Strnad, Head of Legal at FTV Prima

As part of the course 3PO546 Enterprise in Praxis, we had the privilege of welcoming Martin Strnad, an attorney with more than seventeen years of professional experience. Over the course of his career, he has worked in in‑house positions at global technology companies as well as in leading Czech law firms, where he specialized in IT, intellectual property, and telecommunications law. He currently serves as Head of Legal at FTV Prima.

The session focused on practical issues related to starting a business, including:

• how to establish a business in full legal compliance,
• how to effectively protect intellectual property,
• and how to structure contractual relationships to ensure long‑term stability and security.

Students had the opportunity to receive valuable advice directly from an expert who bridges experience from both private practice and corporate environments. The meeting offered not only theoretical insights but above all practical recommendations.
