Entrepreneurship as a Second Career: A Project for a New Life Chapter
On November 5, the project “Entrepreneurship as a Second Career” was featured in prime time on CNN Prima News. The initiative is a collaboration between the Faculty of Business Administration at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE) and the School of Business Administration of Silesian University in Opava.
The project aims to support individuals aged 40+ who are considering a career change and exploring entrepreneurship as a new path. It introduces an innovative approach to fostering entrepreneurial activity among the middle-aged population and contributes to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Czech Republic.
👥 The project team from FBA VŠE includes Nina Bočková, Ondřej Dvouletý, Ivana Svobodová, and Ivana Lukeš Rybanská. The team at Silesian University is led by Jarmila Duháček Šebestová. The application guarantor is CzechInvest, representing the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. The project is funded by public resources through the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR).
