Innovation Week as a Platform for Creativity

During Innovation Week, students of our Minor Specialization actively seized the opportunity to create something new and transformed it into the VŠE Entrepreneurial Vibe Coding Hackathon.

Led by student Duy Quan Bui (David), a full-day event was created that connected technology, entrepreneurship, and creative teamwork focused on developing concrete solutions. Students worked at an intensive pace and presented the outcomes of their work at the end of the day.

The day-long creative workshop resulted, for example, in the following projects:

  • an AI agent designed to search for grant opportunities within municipalities,
  • a business idea developed using a mind map with version tracking,
  • a website for a family-run hotel featuring reservations, a daily menu, and local trip suggestions,
  • a CRM and smart emailing solution,
  • the My Memories application focused on journaling and preserving personal memories.

This approach is characteristic of our Minor Specialization. Students learn to create, experiment, and transform ideas into functional solutions. Innovation Week provided a natural space for developing these skills—driven by enthusiasm, independence, and entrepreneurial thinking.
