Ex post evaluation of the 2007-2013 Entrepreneurship and Innovation Operational Program

Time of realization: 2017 – 2018
Financing: Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade
Description: The objective of the study was to conduct a complex assessment of the impact of the OPPI on the economic situation of the supported enterprises through a Counterfactual Impact Evaluation (CIE), which consists in comparing the financial results of the supported entities within the OPPI with the results of unsupported entities focusing on the economic situation and competitiveness of the supported enterprises. The results of the competitiveness analysis carried out in individual programs indicate mostly the ambiguous effect of the implementation of the aid on the respective indicators, which leads to the conclusion that the implementation of the OPPI support did not have a statistically significant impact on the competitiveness of the supported enterprises in the monitored two-year period after the end of the program.
